Begun in 2008, the Great Friends Foundation is dedicated to making a difference in San Diego County. With a focus on military, education, challenged individuals and low-income families, we support these diverse communities with programs and funding.
Created to recognize and support graduating seniors of San Diego County Military, the Great Friends Foundation Scholarship Program honors students who excel in leadership, academics and community service. Granting two scholarships each year this program says thanks to our military for their service.
Each year the Great Friends Foundation sponsors three stunning events to raise funds for their philanthropic endeavors. Each event is unique and brings new awareness and outreach to our focused programs.

The Cannon Catalina Challenge is over and our champion Blair made it from the icy waters off Catalina to the beach of Palos Verdes in record time! Unofficially his time should rank him third in the 100 year history of this swim.
Challenging himself physically, emotionally and mentally, Blair embarked on this experience as a lifetime milestone. Taking it to the next level, Blair decided to dedicate his efforts to raising money for not only Great Friends Foundation but the Monarch School. Blair is indeed a true champion and role model.
